TIPS TO FIND YOUR SHABBIES SHOE SIZE

We often get asked how our Shabbies shoes fit in terms of size. Let us guide you through the steps so you can easily determine your shoe size!

STEP 1: MEASURE FOR ACCURACY

To find your shoe size, start by measuring your feet. Grab an empty A4 sheet, a pen or pencil, and a ruler. Stand on the paper and trace the outline of your feet. Standing ensures your full weight is on your feet, which might make them a bit larger than when sitting. Then, use a ruler to measure the longest and widest parts of your feet, noting the measurements in centimeters. Repeat these steps with your other foot and use the measurement of your longest foot.

STEP 2: USE OUR SIZE CHART

Now that you have your foot length, it's time to determine your shoe size. Just check your foot length in our size chart below. Keep in mind that our size chart for women is a general guideline for our entire collection, and there might be slight variations for certain shoes.

STEP 3: MEASURE YOUR CALF WIDTH (IF APPLICABLE)

If you're interested in our shaft boots, don't forget to measure your calf width. You can find all the details about measuring our shaft boots on our website.

Skip this step if you're looking for sneakers, sandals, loafers, or ankle boots.

STEP 4: READY TO ORDER!

Now that you know your Shabbies Amsterdam shoe size, it's time to place your order! Explore our new collection and find your favorites. Each item in our webshop includes information about the fit. Typically, they follow the size chart. However, for some items, we'll indicate if they run large or small, so you'll know if you should go for a size smaller or larger than usual. This way, you can be sure to get the perfect fit with your Shabbies shoes!

STEP 5: CHECK THE FIT

Once your shoes arrive, make sure they fit well. Here are some tips:

1. Leave about a thumb's width of space in your shoes. Easily check this by placing your feet at the back of the shoes and feeling if there's enough room at the front.

2. Keep in mind that leather shoes will stretch. Our Shabbies Amsterdam shoes are made from high-quality leather that molds to your feet as you wear them. This means the leather might become a bit more flexible and stretch in width and on the instep. Consider this when trying on your shoes.

3. Try on your new shoes in the morning if possible. Feet tend to swell slightly by the end of the day, which could affect the fit and comfort.

4. Preferably, try the shoes on a carpet or rug to avoid any damage or dirt on the soles, in case you need to return them.
